Wordpress test/skill builder, this was an in class assignment from my Digital Media Design class at NAIT. The goal with this site was to completely design a functional working site using a blank template from wordpress. Utilizing css formatting and php scripting, we were tasked to design to a set list of specifications, the design work itself was completely up to each student. This is what i successful put together. Along with the front-end design we were also tasked to customize the administration panel for client friendly ease-of-use admin solution. -
Career Pathways
I never thought of myself becoming a web developer, but i do enjoy creating/edit/re-facing sites and online content management software. This was a team effort project from NAIT. I was chosen as the server-side tech. My role included everything from setting up the wordpress database, setting up pages, installing plugins and necessary formatting, installing the public forum, registration abilities, and templating/re-facing major elements of the site. -
Summertime Music
Johnny Summers the jaz man. I was contacted and asked to build a site for a friend of a friend. Their previous site was a content managed site, but failing in the area of user friendlyness and looks. My job, to make the site easy, cool and 'jazzy'. I accomplished this usign wordpress, photoshop & most of all CSS. They are very happy with the site, and the client was very impressed with the administrative ability. -
